Improved Framework Conditions for a More Entrepreneurial, Innovative and Sustainable EU

In the wake of corona crisis, European Union must regain lost ground and create more favorable conditions for inclusive sustainable economic growth. The best way to achieve this goal is by increasing Union’s innovativeness. This effort requires extensive broad-based institutional reforms aimed at strengthening incentives entrepreneurship. Innovative entrepreneurship collaborations with numerous agents that provide those skills resources entrepreneur lacking: inventors, key personnel, demanding customers, early later-stage financiers. Based on ecosystem perspective, we propose in following six broad areas: (i) rule law property rights, ii) taxation, iii) savings finance, iv) labor market regulations social security, v) entry exit barriers product markets, (vi) human capital would likely strengthen Europe’s innovation capacity a time when it needed than ever.
